The Queen Anne style is considered one the most graceful of the 18th Century. Our classic design is authentically fashioned after a chair found in the Brooklyn Museum. The slip seat can be covered with your choice of upholstery. The profile of the cabriole leg is cut either by bandsaw, or by hand using spokeshave and files. The leg ends in a simple and elegant pad foot. Suggested woods are walnut or mahogany. Works well with our Queen Anne Dining Table for a complete Queen Anne dining ensemble.
Dimensions: 21" by 21", by 40" high. Plans detail both chairs shown.
This is a blueprint style plan which is heralded by beginners and
experts alike as being a pleasure to work from because all parts are printed in full size
-- all joinery is shown in actual size -- all curved workpieces are all in full size -- and therefore you can measure and trace straight from the drawing if necessary. An exact cutting list doubles as a bill of materials, there is a detailed exploded diagram with labelled parts, and all hardware requirements are provided. The blueprint style large format plan is so detailed that project specific assembly instructions are not provided, but you're always welcome to call 1.800.296.6256 if you have questions.
