Downloadable Rocking Glider Chair Plan Description

Build a smooth action glider chair from any hardwood. Two pair of glider hinges are used to provide almost effortless motion and the plans detail the hardware so you might fashion it yourself, or just buy it from any supplier. Overall dimensions: 21-1/2" wide, 26" deep, and 41-1/2" high. Use an upholstered cover/padding, or leave it plain wood for a more traditional feel.
This is a blueprint style plan which is heralded by beginners and
experts alike as being a pleasure to work from because all parts are printed in full size
-- all joinery is shown in actual size -- all curved workpieces are all
in full size -- and therefore you can measure and trace straight from
the drawing if necessary. An exact cutting list doubles as a bill
of materials, there is a detailed exploded diagram with labelled parts,
and all hardware requirements are provided. The blueprint style
large format plan is so detailed that project specific assembly
instructions are not provided, but you're always welcome to call
